Joseph Aloba, the father of the late rapper Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, known as MohBad, has urged for a DNA test to establish the paternity of his five-month-old grandson. Following MohBad’s passing, there have been requests from Nigerians for a DNA test due to the controversies surrounding the rapper’s death.
In an interview with BBC Pidgin, Joseph Aloba addressed the widespread call for a paternity test on his grandson, emphasizing that the proper thing should be done given the global concern surrounding the matter.
A businessman, Larry Omodia, also urged MohBad’s wife to conduct a DNA test on her son to confirm his paternity. He pledged financial support for the test and highlighted the necessity of the test due to the controversies surrounding MohBad’s passing.
These calls for a DNA test come in the wake of leaked conversations and allegations made by MohBad against his wife during a heated argument, prompting concerns and suspicions regarding the child’s paternity.
Earlier, a social media personality, VeryDarkBalckMan, faced a stern warning from MohBad’s sister-in-law after requesting a DNA test for the rapper’s son, Liam, and was threatened with a N300 million lawsuit for defamation of character.
