She is adapting the acclaimed book “I Do Not Come To You By Chance” by Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani into a film. The story revolves around a young man’s efforts to prevent his family from going hungry and delves into the world of Nigerian email scams. The book received prestigious awards, including the Commonwealth Writers Prize for Best First Book (Africa) and the Betty Trask First Book Award in 2010. Nnaji is working alongside co-executive producer Chinny Carter to bring this captivating tale to life on the big screen. The cast includes Blossom Chukwujekwu and newcomer Paul Nnadiekwe, who both play significant roles.
