Sir Henry, a Nigerian man, alleges that he was kidnapped by men from the Rivers State Police Command in Port-Harcourt. He claims that the incident occurred during a routine stop and search when the police officers found over-the-counter medicines in his possession. Despite presenting his identification and explaining his legitimate reason for having the medicines, the officers allegedly coerced him into accompanying them to various locations while making threats. They demanded a settlement from him, and when he couldn’t comply, they allegedly humiliated him and took cash from him. Sir Henry turned to social media to share his traumatic ordeal and seek justice for the unjust treatment he endured. He hopes that the authorities will investigate the incident and hold the responsible officers accountable.
