English club Fulham has completed the signing of Super Eagles center-back Calvin Bassey from Ajax. The 23-year-old former Rangers defender signed a contract until the summer of 2027, with a club option to extend it for a further year. The deal is reportedly worth 22.5 million euros (£19.3 million). Bassey expressed his excitement about joining Fulham, a club playing in the Premier League, and being back in London. Fulham’s Director of Football, Tony Khan, welcomed Bassey to the club, highlighting his versatility and potential for progress. Bassey, who has 10 caps for Nigeria, made his Super Eagles debut in a World Cup qualifier last year.
