“Simon Ekpa, the self-proclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra, has rejected a letter written to him by Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The letter was read publicly by Kanu’s lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor. Ekpa, who is known for directing the South East to observe a sit-at-home every Monday, described the letter as fake and insisted that the two-week sit-at-home order must be followed. He demanded that for him to believe the letter came from Kanu, Kanu must be released by the Department of State Service (DSS) and address Biafrans from Finland. Ekpa expressed that the letter misrepresents Kanu and calls on all Biafrans to disregard it, stating that they won’t take any orders from the DSS.”
