A tragic incident has been reported at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp in Osun State, where a young corps member named Bright passed away in his sleep.
The heartbreaking event occurred on Sunday, July 23, 2023, leaving the entire camp community in shock and mourning.
Bright, seemingly in good health, had retired to bed the previous night, as per accounts from his fellow colleagues at the orientation camp. However, the next morning, to their profound dismay, he did not wake up. The sudden and unexpected nature of his passing has left the camp residents in deep grief and searching for answers.
Lawrence Echezona, another corps member who was present at the camp, shared the distressing account, stating that Bright had slept peacefully the night before and was unable to wake up the following morning.
This tragic loss has undoubtedly cast a somber atmosphere over the NYSC camp, as the community comes to terms with the untimely passing of their friend and comrade, Bright.
