Grammy award-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy has made history by becoming the first African singer to sell out a stadium show in the United States. The concert took place at the 41,000-capacity Citi Field Stadium in New York City. Burna Boy’s sister, Nissi, performed an opening rendition at the event, and he also brought out British rapper Dave to perform their collaborative song “Location.” Burna Boy entertained the audience with hits such as “Ye” and songs from his albums “Outside,” “African Giant,” “Twice As Tall,” and “Love Damini.”
