Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum has intensified his criticism of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) regarding the team’s preparation for the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup. Despite the NFF’s claim of insufficient funds for necessary plans, Waldrum highlighted several issues hindering preparations, including the cancellation of a planned camp due to financial constraints imposed by the NFF. He expressed challenges in organizing practices without his American assistant and questioned the utilization of FIFA’s disbursed funds intended for World Cup preparations. In response, the NFF dismissed Waldrum’s remarks, labeling him as an “incompetent loud mouth” and asserting that the team had participated in matches and tournaments, with their current 15-day camp in Australia indicating their ongoing preparations.
