Kenyan Chef Maliha Mohammed Attempts Unofficial Guinness World Record for Cooking Duration
Kenyan chef Maliha Mohammed recently embarked on an impressive cooking marathon, unofficially attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time by an individual. Starting on August 11, she cooked for an astounding 95 hours, expressing her achievement on social media. Despite her accomplishment, her new record has yet to be officially recognized by Guinness World Records.
This development follows the recognition of celebrity chef Hilda Baci, who was confirmed by Guinness World Records as the new holder of the longest cooking marathon (individual) record. Hilda Baci, also known as Hilda Effiong Bassey, demonstrated her culinary dedication by cooking non-stop for 93 hours and 11 minutes, surpassing the previous record.
It’s worth noting that while Maliha Mohammed’s attempt is remarkable, the official recognition process by Guinness World Records involves a thorough examination of evidence and documentation.
